For those of you who are new to Legislative Assembly, if you are going to Assembly and haven’t done so already, you should really check out the New Delegate Orientation. Â Here’s the email that APSCUF VP Amy Walters sent out today:
Message from Amy Walters, Vice President:
During the upcoming Legislative Assembly there will be a new delegate/alternate orientation breakfast meeting on Friday, September 25, at 7:30 a.m. (location to be determined).
Any delegates/alternates who have not previously attended assembly are strongly encouraged to join in to learn about procedures and to meet delegates from other campuses. Informal discussions will continue during lunchtime (location to be determined).
Delegates/alternates who have already attended are welcome to join in for a refresher or networking. In order to get an accurate breakfast and lunch count, please identify who from your campus will be at the orientation meetings. We are trying to work on having a separate buffet set up in the meeting room depending on the number of individuals attending.
Office Managers: This information can be included on the rooming list you provide to Monica. Indicate by the individual’s name that he/she will be attending the Friday breakfast meeting and Friday lunch meeting.
